My love affair with flowers began at an early age. Beginning in childhood, I planted, grew, smelled, picked, arranged and drew all the flowers around me.
I went on to earn my Ikebana teaching certificate at the prestigious Seigetsu Flower Arrangement School in Japan. Soon after that I first began experimenting with expressing my love for flowers through the synthetic polymer clay that I use today.
Using artists oil paint, jewelers scissors and an artists pick, I carefully sculpt expressive 3D wall hangings and floral jewelry. Over the last 25 years, I have been fortunate to see my work exhibited around the world and have grown many wonderful relationships with patrons and fellow artists.
I hope that my joy and love for flowers can be passed on to you through my work. If you have any questions, please feel free to write me! |
